Zermatt Adventure (off-piste skiing / intro. to touring / backcountry skiing)

What better way to discover the region than 6 days of off-piste tours and glacier descents. Each day we will make use of the valley’s extensive lift system, together with touring kit to pack more skiing into our off-piste adventures.

Who’s it for: for skiers with a sense of adventure who want to access the mountains as soon as possible.

A Typical Week
We hope to keep these holidays flexible in order to make the most of the conditions but the plan is as follows:

Day 0 Sat

The first evening we will meet in Zermatt to discuss the week and sort out equipment.

Day 1 Sun

A chance to find our ski legs on the glaciers above Zermatt and discuss avalanche awareness and safety procedures.

Day 2-6 Mon-Fri

A stunning week of day tours ,off piste skiing and majestic glacier descents. We aim to spend 1 night in a mountain hut which will allow us to access some of the best and longest glacier runs in Europe.

Day 7 Sat

Say our farewells and depart

Price: From £280 per day guide only.

What is included:

A qualified international mountain guide for the duration of the course.
All group safety equipment.

What is not included:

Travel to and from the course.
Accommodation & food.
Insurance (personal injury and rescue is required).
Ski and ski boot hire, skins and ski crampons (couteau).
Ski passes and taxis or railway transfers. This will vary depending on the actual itinerary chosen.
